www.fantasytiara.co.uk is my tiara/headress only website - including the limited edition one-off designs to buy from the website. You do not have to order a dress to order a headress.
I started to design my own tiaras & circlets in 1998 to complement my wedding dress designs as there was nothing suitable available. I hope you will find something you like - remember though, you can have the original design or change the colour of the wire or crystals - or - even combine elements of different tiaras to create your own unique design. Some of the headresses on the website are one-offs and may not be repeatable - so for a completely unique headress you may want to look at these.
All headresses are designed & handmade to order. So, you can have the original colours of wire/stones/crystals OR you can change them to co-ordinate with your colour scheme OR you can combine elements of different tiaras/circlets to create your own unique design. Wire is available in a choice of finish colours ie silver, gold, brass or coloured (over a copper core) and there is a fantastic choice in swarovski crystal and semi-precious stone chips (and of course whatever is in my workbox! I'm a hoarder and do not like to throw things away - it will come in useful one day . . . )
HOW TO ORDER . . . please read the guidelines below and then fill in the contact form and submit it. If in doubt or to discuss ypour ideas please contact me.
* Allow enough time (eg date needed for hair trial, not necessarily the date of the wedding). 4-6 weeks is good but shorter orders may be possible - I have recently made circlets in less than a week if I have the crystals/wire in stock! If in doubt - contact me.
* You can order by tel, email or personal appointment at the studio.
Commissions & one-off designs - If you would like to combine different elements of 2 or more headresses or change the wire, crystal or stone colour/combinations or create a truly unique & oriignal one-off headress please contact me.
Details required for order to be accepted . . .
* Circlets - Head measurement taken in required position. Choose full head circlet style or open at the back for ribbon ties or hairpin fastening. Client responsible for providing accurate and correct measurements.
* Tiara - choose your design or combine bits of designs together
* Wire colour? - choose from Silver, Gold. Bronze or coloured wire. (wire is either plated or enamelled around a copper core).
* Semi-precious chips and/or swarovski crystal? - semi precious chips are natural products from the earth, so each piece is unique and may be different from other pieces eg rock crystal, garnet, amerthyst etc. Swarovski crystals are regular in size and colour consistant eg round, teardrop, heart, bi-cone etc. I also have odd bits of other crystals, pearls, metal beads etc collected over the years in my workbox!
Payment . . .
* Full payment in advance - including postage.
* Cash, UK cheques, postal orders or direct bank payments are accepted in English pounds sterling. UK cheques need to be cleared before goods posted out so please allow at least 14 working days (ie Monday-Friday).
* International Clients are responsible for any country/state taxes and payment by either bank transfer or UK cheque via friends/family in UK.
* Postage & packing is additional and must be paid in advance – UK is by Royal Mail Special Delivery £7.00. Euorpean/International postage on individual basis. Euro/Int clients are responsible for any country/state taxes.
Gothik Designs will endeavor to create as accurate a headdress as possible from the sample collection but as each headdress is made by hand and therefore unique, differences may occur. Gothik Designs will endeavor to find the nearest match in equivalent or cheaper materials but reserves the right to amend designs as necessary, eg if components are unavailable or discontinued. If alternative materials are more expensive then client to pay full additional costings.
Bespoke headdress orders ie customized to particular client requirements, are accepted at the discretion of Gothik Designs, but may be subject to an additional design fee.
To comply with distance selling regulations - As all headresses are specially made to order they cannot be returned unless damaged in transit to client. Damage must be reported in writing (and confirmed by telephone call with Gothik Designs) within 24hrs of receipt and a damage number obtained. Any items returned otherwise will not be accepted. No refunds will be given but the piece re-made.
